Grape varieties: Garnatxa negra, Carinyena, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon
Vines of Grenache and Carignan from 45 years old terraces; vines of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet from 30 years old terraces. All of them are collected in plots from Gratallops, El Lloar, La Vilella Baixa and La Vilella Alta.
Elaboration: Handpicked grapes, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and bottled afterwards.
“Medium intense appearance, ruby with a garnet development. Nose a bit closed but showing fresh fruit sensations with red cherries and raspberries as well as floral notes. Elegant and structured, with complexity without dominating the fresh, mainly red fruit character of the wine. Juicy, balanced and somehow refreshing, this is a lovely expression of Priorat. Getting ready to drink now, but will improve with another 3-5 years of bottle age."”
